🔧 Sunset 76

Went and had my 01 4Runner worked on - scheduled me within a day, everything was reasonably priced, they only did the work that needed doing (no upselling, even talked me out of my unnecessary request, gave me a heads up on other work I needed, etc), work was completed same day, and they did such a good job even my father in law was satisfied (and as a mechanic he's not easily impressed) Really can't recommend them highly enough! They're my new go-to shop!

Sunset 76 was to able to reconnect the fuel pipe that somehow got knocked loose. My engine couldn’t start. And it was handled with celerity. But the jumping starting of the engine led to electrical issues. This I will have the mechanics at Mini handle it.

I’ve been meaning to leave Sunset 76 a good review for years. I found them back when I was in college and was navigating taking care of my car on my own for the first time. I was worried since I had no idea what I was doing but they were very honest and helpful. The owner was patient, fair and very communicative. He even talked to my dad on the phone for me when I was confused about the repair (lol). Ever since then I’ve returned to them for everything, from repairs to new tires. Each time the price was reasonable, customer service was great, and the repair was quick and reliable. I’ve even called around to other mechanics for price quotes, and Sunset 76 prices were always far lower! It really feels like they know what they are doing and take pride in providing fair, excellent service. I’ve recommended them to multiple friends and everyone has had a great experience as well. I came in with issues with my recently bought Toyota Highlander as well as trust issues regarding mechanics. Louis contacted me with what they found and gave me his honest opinion without being pushy. He was straightforward and understanding in all of his communications—good guy that was concerned with what was best for me as a driver and not just hoping to get money out of me. The mechanics did an excellent job and all are real stand-up guys. They really helped me in a pinch and did the work quickly. Highly recommend.

The other day, I developed a flat tire on 19th Ave in pouring rain. I found myself at Sunset 76 and am very pleased that I did. The service team reviewed my flat tire and replaced it in short order. I recommend the team and their kind, positive demeanor. I was flustered, and they were completely level-headed. Thank you JR
