Horrible horrible experience all around. I came here in June for a general inspection/maintenance before moving cross country. No problems that needed repair, just oil change, tire rotation, filter changes, fluid top off—cost $650. They wanted to change my brake fluid for an extra $500 but I said I would wait until next time. 3 weeks later I am getting ready to move. My windshield washer fluid is already out despite them saying they topped it off. I’m driving to goodwill when every warning light comes on at the same time “check engine, check brakes, check power steering, check tire pressure…” Freaking out since I have less than 24 hours before I drop off my car to be shipped. I come back to SF Honda to investigate. They say this likely has nothing to do with my recent service and it was just bad luck the warnings came on so soon after my first visit. I drop it off for 7 hours and then get a call to come pick it up. The problem was my oil filter was reinstalled incorrectly the first time I came in and oil had been slowly dripping out since then. I then here someone ask “have you broken the news to her yet?”. While they had my car Sergio was driving around the block and got into an accident. Summary: 1. I brought my car here before my move, trying to be responsible and make sure everything was in order before I moved. I was grossly overcharged. 2. A mistake from the first time I came caused oil to slowly drip for weeks and all my car warnings to flash on 3. When I brought my car back, the staff got into an accident with it I know this was a series of bad luck and likely not anyone’s fault, but my biggest complaint was how this was handled. Sergio in particular was very rude and unprofessional. He did not explain the details of what happened, he did not show me the damage to my car, and he was very upset with me when I asked him to write up and print out a report of what happened for my records. He told me he was a nice guy trying to help me but he was neither of those things. He instructed me bring my car to a body shop and email him with the quote with no explanation of next steps from there or how I would be compensated or reimbursed. Now after I move the first thing I’ll need to do if find a body shop and continue to fight with San Francisco Honda to reimburse me. In short, please don’t ever go here. If you need a Honda Dealership choose Anderson Honda in Palo Alto Instead.

We took our Pilot for an oil change and maintenance on a Saturday morning. It was a speedy service and staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and explained everything that needed to be done. Thanks for their excellent service! We were out by 11 am and we understand it can super busy on a weekend.

Geoff and Ty are courteous and helpful at all times. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me. I come in for service and if there is a problem they always let me know before the work is done, gives me an estimate. They also tell me if it has to be done ASAP or if I can wait. The mechanics are very nice and they get my car ready as quickly as possible.

Just had my car serviced at SF Honda and everything went super smoothly. I came in for a regular maintenance check plus a recall fix, and the team took great care of everything. They were friendly, explained the process clearly, and didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need (which I really appreciated). The service and recall was handled quickly. I was in and out faster than expected, and the car’s running great. Overall, super easy, no stress, and everyone I interacted with was helpful. Definitely coming back here for future services.

I recently bought a new 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid at the Honda dealership in San Francisco and had a smooth overall experience. As a woman, I really appreciated that Christian Gonzalez was respectful, patient, and didn't use any forceful tactics throughout the process — something that unfortunately isn’t always the case at dealerships. I left with exactly what I wanted. I’d definitely recommend this dealership, especially to other women looking for a more comfortable car-buying experience.
