Absolutely blown away by the service at City Auto Tech! 🚗💥 I brought my car in with a mysterious engine issue that two other shops couldn’t figure out. The team here not only diagnosed the problem within a few hours, but also took the time to explain everything in a way I could actually understand — no confusing jargon, just honest and clear communication. 🙌 They treated my vehicle like their own and got it running smoother than it has in years. What stood out most was the professionalism and pride they take in their work — it’s rare to find a shop that’s this trustworthy and skilled. 👨🔧🔧 If you want fast, fair, and high-quality service from people who truly care, City Auto Tech is the place to go! 💯

TLDR: Disappointing Experience Despite Friendly Service I initially chose this body shop based on their positive reviews and reputation. I came in with the hope of getting a fair price and potentially becoming a returning customer. The original quote I received was about $1,000 higher than another shop, but after negotiating, they agreed to match the lower price. Unfortunately, the quality of the work did not reflect the shop’s ratings or the owner’s friendliness. Several parts were not replaced as expected, some components were improperly installed, and my passenger seat was removed and not correctly reseated. Most notably, the front bumper—which I paid for out of pocket—is now sliding. In contrast, the rear bumper, which was covered by insurance, was reassembled properly. While I appreciated the willingness to negotiate and the owner’s friendly demeanor, the poor workmanship has completely overshadowed the experience.

I went for a brake light issue. I left my car at 11am and they returned it around 5pm. I asked him to check the brakes too. They charged me $120 for the inspection and they told me I have to pay $375 just for the part. I refused to pay that much for a light change and left. When I got home I noticed that the old light worked fine, it was just unplugged. I had to come back because they left the back of my trunk opened . I also told him the light was working fine so I needed the same light and the back side to put it back. When I got home I noticed he put the light but was unplugged and he also hid the wire! This is unprofessional and dishonest. I paid $120 for nothing. In addition I didn’t receive any receipt for that.
