Patrick and the team patiently went out of their way last minute and made time in their busy schedule to diagnose my mysterious BMW issue. My car is a 2003 BMW wagon with all-wheel drive and 190,000+ miles on the odometer (with many miles city-driven in San Francisco). The "check engine" light has been on for a few months and neglected. It's certainly near the end of it's life, which is exactly what I was thinking when it stalled on a hill near FiDi this Wednesday. I looked online and found All-American Automotive- I called and asked if they could take a look at the car same day and was met with a warm greeting and told that yes, I could drop the car off and hopefully they'll take a look this afternoon. I received a fair quote up-front with their hourly charge, and once they diagnosed the issues a few hours later, was given a call to run through a comprehensive fix (which was fairly priced, but expensive for my budget) or what I deem an "essentials-only" fix, which would have me driving out of the shop in a safe car with the check engine light off. Within 24 hours my car was fixed, running very smoothly, and HAPPY. They paid attention to detail and were realistic and up-front with setting expectations. I will gladly return to this shop for servicing and will recommend them to anyone with maintenance needs. Huge thank you to Patrick and Doug for their care and expertise.
