🔧 Rolling Stock

Good shop with friendly and skilled staff, my only annoyance is that they don't take appointments and it's hard to guess when they have time. Today my girlfriend went in around 3pm to have one tire changed (we brought the new tire) and they said "come back tomorrow". Luckily a shop nearby did the install quickly same day. Good shop overall, I'd just prefer an appointment so I can plan around it.

Rolling Stock is great! They are our household's go-to for tires and all the other services they provide. Check-in staff are friendly and respectful, without a trace of the sexism that some shops still show. And today, wow! The car dealer service rep said i needed alignment done as "preventive maintenance." I held off so i could see if Rolling Stock had done it already (they had not) or could do it cheaper (they could). But when I told the guy what I wanted, he very kindly told me that it wasn't necessary unless there is an obvious problem in how the car drives (there is not). So basically he chose honesty over profit - and guaranteed I'll go back there when I need anything else. Thanks Rolling Stock!

In any business, it’s how issues are handled that truly defines customer service—and they stepped up. Thank you all for making it right. Original Review (1 star): I brought my Audi TT for a new set of wheels, just because I wanted a different look. Said it would take an hour, but it turned into 3.5 hours. On top of that, the car wasn’t drivable above 50 mph due to terrible wobble and vibration. You are supposed to be a tire and wheel shop. Also, your employees seemed surprised that I wanted my Audi’s original wheels loaded into the trunk. Not even asking if I wanted to keep or store them came off as rather shady. Those original Audi wheels are absolutely worth money, especially since the car is barely used and has been garage-kept all its life. I don’t recommend.

Was having severe difficulty with my Fernadette 2014 Ford fusion that had already been serviced twice at another shop (please see my review of Firestone at 1501 Mission St. SF CA For that miserable story). As a building inspector, been into Rolling stock multiple times noticing organization, safety regulations in place, and a staff that never stops moving. My intuitions were correct cause these folks are legit real ones. Whilst ya stand✊ in line or on hold, note the other real ones around ya at Rolling Stock. Genuine, badassess who know where to take their Rolling works of mechanical art. They investigated the issues with electrical system and failing brakes. Found a severe infestation of mice that has been going on for quite a while. How's the mechanics at Firestone missed or ignored this evidence is incredible. Rolling Stock kept my car for a week to try every available method of saving the vehicle. Unfortunately, the car is a total loss. Firestone charged us over $4000+ for service that was dangerously faulty. Rolling Stock charged less than $300 and had the car for over a week That's integrity folks. This is why we choose small businesses rather than corporations with armies of lawyer to cover up cheap labor practices. Thank you you too, Rick (manager), Ivan (mechanic), Mario & Jaime (intake) for their efforts, honesty, and attention to detail. Highly recommend this crew work on your vehicles. Be patient please.
