Do I know a thing about cars ? No - I don’t. Do I recognize good customer service and appreciate education and clear explanations? Yes . I can’t recommend Ray and his trusted team enough . Had no clue what struts were (still don’t) but Ray was able to identify and correct the problem. Very much appreciate his expertise.

I used to bring my truck here for basic service. But every single time I brought my truck here something went wrong mechanically shortly after. After I had Ray complete some extensive work, the truck died. I took it to a dealership and they told me the work Ray did was shoddy and incomplete. After spending thousands at Ray's shop and thousands at the dealership, my truck is finally running the way it's supposed to. The dealership also informed me Ray took parts off my car and replaced it with incompatible parts. I do not recommend bringing your vehicle here unless you want your car to die.

I’m not one to write a negative review, and I’ve held my tongue for a year so I didn’t speak in anger. I took my schoolie here for a “check-up” and ended up doing some work on the a/c. The service seemed pretty typical, nothing amazing, nothing terrible…until 45mins out of town the bus overheated. Turned out some shroud wasn’t appropriately secured after the a/c work, jiggled free and lodged in the fan. The roadside guy showed us the part and missing by screw. We were stuck for hours on the side of the road. Mistakes happen. What totally flummoxed me was that the shop did not return my calls (it was 2p on a Friday) to help us trouble shoot or anything, and in fact never called. You gotta stand by your work, and at least be a gentleman and return calls.

Ray has had this shop for over 30 years in the Mission. This is *the* place to go in SF for fair and quality work on large trucks and vans.
