Super Plush Suspension nightmare experience also known as James Si. (last name shortened) I was bottoming out my frontend suspension and needed stiffen that up. SPS company name came up, and many online reviews sworn by this shop's work. I started talking to James in May of 2024 to try and arrange for the stiffer front fork spring - James asked me to drop factory front fork spring over at his shop so he could have a visual inspection of the spring size, after that I naturally had to pick the factory spring back up. It took two months for him to understand that the spring is not the way to go or technically not feasible to further stiffen the front end via immediately available means. That should have ringed the bells - but James was hyper professional and actually knew the right, real world practical answers to real world practical challenges. I continued talking to him then about getting full Ohlins setup (rear/front) - this/Ohlins conversation has now started at the very end of June (May-June he was figuring out the spring upgrade). I placed the order with Super Plush Suspension / SPS for shock and cartridge kit mid July now, with James that is, one month later I've been trying to get any word from James on the status and he has gone rouge on me - completely disappeared - no text, no phone pickup after multiple and numerous calls/texts/emails - nothing. We are now into December and James tells me that the bike will be ready on 12/15 and i can pick it up at 2pm. I arrived at the given time to find that there is no one there and place is closed, 0/zero communication.. Mind you, it's 2 hours drive for me. I came back the following Tuesday 12/17 after work, mid day now, to find one of his "employees" there, as well as some as "understanding" attitude folks who were intimately familiar with my ongoing nightmare. At this point the bike was missing the installation of the front wheel and some other minor parts. Aforementioned employee (Chris) agreed to do the needful and that's when i finally picked the bike up. I tried to keep this story on point and short (there is more , but it took almost a year to do the needful, there was no communication, literally 1 message per month or even less at times from James and no progress until i was actually showing up at the shop.

Good shop. Knowledgeable and on time with appointment. They ordered and installed upgraded fork cartridges. Brought in forks off bike. After I installed back on bike, the handling was off and stiff. I reached out to buy lighter springs. They confirmed w suspension vendor i had the correct spring rate for my weight and suggested adjustments to try before triggering. Starting with that and other adjustments, the bike is now sorted. Thanks to them for caring and not taking the quick buck on the springs.

Writing this review now that I've delt with other suspension shops and kind of know what the expected level of service is. Overall okay, drop the bike off with the suspension. They did the swap, come pick up, and leave. However no offer to adjust preload (I asked them and they said no need for adjustment, they gave me "factory settings" whatever that means). And later when I emailed them about a question on the Andreani's, they replied they did not recommend this shock to customers. By the way no mention of this before install, where I could have returned and went with another component. I would say a bare minimum level of service, and I have since found better options nearby

I came to these fellas last year and i completely forgot to leave the a review (shame on me! shame!) I was working on a project bike and brought in my forks and asked for a new badass shock cause Honda used a non rebuildable shock stock because they are godless heathens. any who I got my bits back from them and slapped them back in the bike and boy howdy do she rail now! I flippin love this bike and its cause of the suspension because i haven't even done any power mods on her yet, she just handles beautifully now. plenty of corner confidence trail breaking into some bend and getting on the throttle and just getting soo pitted bro!!! seriously it handles great! only realized i didnt leave a review because im coming crawling back to them for another bike to have them do their magic on.

TL;DR: Great experience, will come again. Very positive experience getting my suspension setup with these guys. I had fork kit & new rear shock put on my 690 Duke. I dealt with James leading up to pulling the trigger. He was knowledgeable, happy to answer my questions, and communicative. Eric was the one who worked on my bike. Again, very nice and knowledgeable. Walked me through my new setup, helped me packing up the old shock/springs (which I stupidly hadn't planned for bringing home on my bike). For anyone looking to at this - keep in mind it's a couple week process (which I think is normal). Takes some time to get the parts from the supplier, and then these guys seem pretty busy so lead time is required to schedule an appointment.
